Memory regained: Trivial Positive - some dartful puns (escape: q)
Date: Day 114
Game won: akasha's game

Memory:
[ phi and sigma run into the warehouse, where the whole gang (including those currently unconscious) are waiting. ]

K: Oh, thank goodness. I'm so glad you're safe.
Tenmyouji: So... Did you disable the bombs?
Sigma: Yeah. I could've done it in my sheep.
Phi: Don't you mean "in your sleep"?
Luna: Oh my... Thank you! Thank you so much!
Clover: Yeah.
Clover: Good job, you guys.
Sigma: No need to thank me.
Sigma: Although, I mean, if you insist, I, uh, wouldn't mind a little...swimsuit time...
Luna: ...What?
Clover: ...Huh?
Phi: You're disgusting.

[ an announcement chimes ]

Announcer: One minute remains until Chromatic Doors close.
K: We need to hurry!
Tenmyouji: Everybody know who's in their group.
Sigma: Yeah, I'm set.
Tenmyouji: All right. Then let's move!

[ phi, sigma, and tenmyouji run through the center white door and walk into a room that is entirely white - the walls are covered in white squares, save the doors and keyhole. ]

Sigma: Wh-What the hell?
Sigma: There's nothing here...
Tenmyouji: Well, there're doors.
Tenmyouji: The one we came in...
Tenmyouji: ...And that one, which I'm assuming is the exit.
Sigma: ...Yup, figures.
Sigma: Won't budge.
Phi: The plaque on the door just said "Q."
Sigma: Q... What the hell's that supposed to mean?
Tenmyouji: Hmph. Really? Now someone's just being a smartass.
Phi: Huh?
Tenmyouji: Nothing.
Tenmyouji: Maybe the Q is for "question."
Sigma: Hm... Well, I guess it is a very questionable room.
Phi: If there was a deck of cards here, maybe the Q would be for "queen"...
Sigma: That's a quality guess right there...
Tenmyouji: ...
Phi: ...
Sigma: ...
Tenmyouji: Right, well, we need to get out of here. Let's find a way to get the door open.
Phi: We also need to find the star keys. I've got enough BP to open the door, but you guys need to play the AB games some more.

[ She looks at her bracelet [9] as well as at Tenmyouji's [3] and Sigma's [4] ]

Tenmyouji: Yeah.
Sigma: We still need a few more points.
Phi: If we can get those star keys, we should be able to play the AB Game as many times as we need to. So...
Sigma: It's just a matter of time until we get the points we need.
Phi: Right.
Sigma: Well, let's get started, then!
Phi: Good.
Tenmyouji: Okay.

[ they take another look around ]

Tenmyouji: Okay…
Tenmyouji: What’re we supposed to do here? The room’s empty.
Phi: Wait...Do you hear something?
Sigma: …?

[ a cube pops out from the floor, also covered in white squares ]

Tenmyouji: Huh…
Tenmyouji: Well, how much you wanna bet it has something to do with that?
Sigma: Guess we should go, uh, have a look…

[ they go to inspect the cube ]

Tenmyouji: I think this cube is just floating here.
Sigma: How the hell’s it doing that?
Phi: Who knows. Can’t tell just by looking at it.
Phi: Why don’t you touch it and see if anything happens?

[ touching it essentially starts a game of minesweeper

sigma solves the puzzle for the far wall, causing a panel to jut out of that wall ]

Sigma: Whoa! What the hell!?
Tenmyouji: Hmm, interesting. So that’s how this one works…
Phi: It looks like there’s more of them.
Phi: We should keep looking.

[ Sigma looks under the class covering of the panel. ]

Tenmyouji: This thing is pretty big.
Phi: There’s something behind this cover that looks like a motherboard.
Phi: It must be a computer.
Tenmyouji: If this really is a computer, it’s way too big for any kind of practical home use.
Sigma: So you could say it’s an impersonal computer?

[ sigma solves the rest of the minesweeper puzzle, revealing all of the panels/puzzles hidden in the room.

they go over to inspect the darts display. ]

Phi: Are those...missiles?
Sigma: They’re darts!
Tenmyouji: Look over here…
Tenmyouji: I think that’s a green memory card.
Sigma: We can’t get it out, though. That glass is covering it.
Tenmyouji: I think we can get some darts out, though.
Sigma: Okay. I’ll grab a couple.

[ they examine the darts ]

Phi: A bunch of tiny Sidewinders, huh. You know, the ones they mount on the underside of fighter planes—
Sigma: These aren’t missiles!
Sigma: They’re darts.
Tenmyouji: Listen, Sigma, you’ve got three darts.
Tenmyouji: You could probably snap one of them easily, but all three of them…
Sigma: Uh, I don’t think I can break even one of them very easily, actually…
Tenmyouji: … …
Tenmyouji: Hrrrrrgh! Grraaaaaah!
Sigma: Okay, using your feet has got to be cheating…

[ they look at the dart display case again. ]

Phi: You know, if we turned out the lights it’d get pretty dart.
Phi: This workmanship is amazing. You could say it’s a real objet dart. When my clothes are covered in—
Sigma: Okay, okay! We get it...
Phi: He he he…

[ they then look at a nearby dartboard. ]

Tenmyouji: That’s a dartboard.
Sigma: I...I remember seeing this before.
Tenmyouji: Come on, who hasn’t seen a dartboard before?
Sigma: No, that’s not what I mean. I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere in this building before.
Sigma: It’s just...this board is...different from a normal dartboard, you know?
Tenmyouji: Hmm…
Phi: Let’s try it out.
Sigma: What do you mean try it out?
Phi: Isn’t that obvious? There’s only two ways to use a dartboard.
Phi: Either you use it to hold pizza, or you throw darts at it.
Tenmyouji: You’ve got some darts, don’t you Sigma?
Tenmyouji: Maybe you could try throwing ‘em.
Sigma: Huh? That’s weird…
Sigma: I could have sworn I’ve seen these darts before somewhere…
Sigma: Whatever. Time for some darts!

[ sigma tries the dart puzzle once and fails ]

Sigma: Huh… This is pretty hard…

[ he succeeds after a few more failed attempts ]

Sigma: Ha! Piece of cake! You see that? My dart skills are undeniable!
Phi: Yes, I saw it quite clearly. It was very nice.
Phi: Do you really think you had to stand the whole 2 meters and 37 centimeters away from the dartboard, though?
Sigma: I’m a fair man.
Sigma: My high school voted me “Most Likely to be a Judge,” you know.
Phi: Okay, okay…
Tenmyouji: That’s great and all, but look…
Tenmyouji: See the display case?
Phi: It’s open…
Sigma: Great. Now we can get that green memory card.

[ they turn to look at it. ]

Tenmyouji: Hmm… We’re gonna have to pull out all the stops on this job.
Sigma: You sound like you’re in a heist movie.
Tenmyouji: Should I have worn a catsuit?
Sigma: Ugh… I think I just threw up a little.
Sigma: Besides, everyone in a heist movie wears a sweet suit…

[ they turn back to the display with computers and shapes ]

Tenmyouji: Not every day you see a...I’m not even sure what to call this… A cabinet? Not every day you see a cabinet like this.
Sigma: It looks like each of these cubbies has something in it.
Phi: The one on the left looks like a binder.
Tenmyouji: And on the right it looks like you’ve got a red memory card…
Sigma: We can’t get to them, though. They’ve got glass doors.
Phi: Punch through them!
Sigma: All right, here goes—!
Tenmyouji: Don’t. This is reinforced glass. The only thing you’re going to break is your hand.
Sigma: You know, I feel like I’ve seen this thing somewhere before..
Phi: Me too.
Tenmyouji: You were in the antimatter reactor control room before this, weren’t you?
Tenmyouji: Maybe you saw one in there.
Sigma: No, I don’t think so…
Phi: There wasn’t anything like this there.
Tenmyouji: Then where did you see it?
Sigma: Um…
Phi:
Tenmyouji: … …?

[ sigma attempts the puzzle and fails ]

Sigma: No good… I can’t get at it.
Phi: Do you even know what color we’re supposed to make these?
Sigma: Yeah. They’re supposed to look like the cabinet on the other side, right?
Phi: Oh, so you do know.
Sigma: Yeah. We’ve done this one before.
Phi: Right. In the security room.
Sigma: Uh-huh.
Tenmyouji: Hey… What’re you guys talking about?
Sigma: …
Phi:
Sigma: We’ll tell you later.
Sigma: Right now, I need to figure out this puzzle.
Phi: Good luck.
Phi: All you’ve got to do is make all the shapes look like the ones on the cabinet.
Sigma: I know, I know.

[ sigma fails again ]

Sigma: Damnit! This is pissing me off…
Sigma: Nobody could do this in five moves!
Phi: Haven’t you said something like that before?
Sigma: Have I...?
Phi: Do you want me to tell you how to solve it?
Sigma: Oh, thanks. So you know how to solve it, huh?
Phi: I could do this puzzle with my eyes closed.
Sigma: Wait… I feel like I’ve heard that before…
Phi: I think I’ll let you keep trying for a bit. If you get totally helpless I’ll step in.

[ another failure ]

Sigma: Urgh… C’mon you stupid thing, work with me here!

[ fails again ]

Sigma: Argh… I can’t figure it out.

[ annnd again ]

Sigma: No good. I’m stumped. I give up.
Sigma: How the hell am I supposed to solve this?
Phi: Ugh. I guess there’s no helping it. Here’s how it works.

[ she walks him through the solution, step by step, but leaves out the very last step ]

Phi: You don’t really need me to tell you the last step, do you?

[ he then follows her instructions and solves it ]

Sigma: Did...did I solve it?
Tenmyouji: Yeah, that must be the answer.
Tenmyouji: Look.
Sigma: The glass doors…
Phi: They’re open…
Tenmyouji: Well done. That was some good work, Sigma.

[ they pick up the binder. ]

Phi: It’s a binder.
Tenmyouji: Let’s have a look…
Tenmyouji: There’s only a single piece of paper in here.
Tenmyouji: It says “Q Chamber Special AB Game.”

[ they turn to look at a bookshelf display ]

Tenmyouji: Looks like...four purple books.
Phi: Let’s go through each one of them.
Phi: What the… There’s nothing written here.
Sigma: ...Huh?
Phi: I mean all the pages are blank.
Tenmyouji: Are the other books the same?
Phi: Let’s have a look.
Phi: Yeah, there’s nothing here…
Phi: This one’s blank too…
Phi: ...Huh?
Tenmyouji: Something wrong? Is there something in that one?
Phi: No, the pages are all blank. It’s just...
Sigma: Just what?
Phi: Well, there are...some pictures put in between the pages back here.
Phi: Three of them, it looks like.

[ the three pictures show dice on them, so they go over to the dice game. sigma attempts it (but fails) ]

Sigma: Huh. I can’t figure it out.
Phi: You remember those pictures we found? The three pictures of the dice?
Phi: You’re using them, right?
Phi: They should be the clues you need.
Phi: ...No, not even clues, that should be the answer right there.
Phi: Basically, you need to arrange the dice so that they look the way they do in the pictures.
Phi: Now, try it again.

[ he tries again and solves it ]

Sigma: Ha! Got it!
Tenmyouji: I had a feeling you could do it. Good job.
Phi: Have a look at this…
Sigma: Hey, it opened.

[ they take the now-accessible blue memory card from the nearby slot. they then go over to investigate the computer. ]

Sigma: What the heck is this ridiculously huge thing?
Tenmyouji: There’s a screen down here. It looks like this is the only part you can actually interact with.
Sigma: But it’s dark. There’s nothing on it.
Phi: There are some card slots underneath the screen.
Phi: They look just like the ones on the polling machines in the AB Rooms.
Tenmyouji: So that means..
Sigma: We need to put some memory cards in here, right?
Phi: Yeah, like the one you’ve got in your hand right now.

[ he puts the blue card in the blue slot ]

Sigma: Let’s see what happens if I put this in… Nope, nothing.
Tenmyouji: You’ve still got two empty slots. I’d reckon you need two more cards.
Sigma: Hm.

[ he puts the green card in ]

Sigma: Nothing, huh…
Phi: Well, there’s still one empty slot…
Sigma: I guess that means I gotta put in one more, huh?

[ he puts the final red card in ]

Tenmyouji: Would you look at that.
Phi: Looks like you turned it on.

[ sigma tries, and fails ]

Sigma: Damnit… This is tough.
Phi: Keep at it!
Phi: We can barely rely on you!
Sigma: Hey! Was the “barely” really necessary?!

[ sigma fails ]

Phi: Those papers you just found… They said something about a “Q Chamber Special AB Game,” right?
Phi: Is this that thing?
Tenmyouji: Yeah, remember what it said? “First Answer: Reach 9 with five others.”
Tenmyouji: That’s probably how you win, then. See if you can meet those conditions.
Tenmyouji: There’s something else written in here.
Tenmyouji: “Three of these people will always choose ‘ally.’ Three of them will always choose ‘betray.’”
Tenmyouji: “One of them is a mysterious mirror man. He will always do whatever his opponent does.”
Phi: A single mirror man, huh…
Phi: Well, that means that he’s one of the solos—C, D, or E.
Tenmyouji: That means that the pairs are A and B.
Tenmyouji: So they’ll either always choose “ally” or always choose “betray.”
Phi: Easy enough to find out which is which. We just need to play the game again.
Phi: That should tell us who A and B are.
Tenmyouji: We can logic out who C, D, and E are too. Easy.

[ another try, another failure ]

Phi: I’ve got it.
Phi: Here’s what each person chooses…

[ she explains the choices each person makes to sigma ]

Phi: The rest should be easy, right?
Tenmyouji: You just need to get yourself and five others to 9 points.
Sigma: Yeah, I think I can handle that...

[ sigma fails again ]

Tenmyouji: Are you sure you understand what you’re supposed to be doing here?
Tenmyouji: Let’s run through who’s going to be in the group of six. You’ll have the pair and solo who always ally…
Tenmyouji: Then the pair that includes you‐the “US” group—and the mirror man, who will all ally?
Tenmyouji: You understand?
Phi: SInce we know A and E will always betray, then they need to play against one another.
Phi: Then we just need to vote “ally” three times…
Tenmyouji: And you should get to 9 points, no sweat.
Tenmyouji: How about you give it another shot now?

[ they solve the puzzle, and get the code ]

Sigma: Ha! Got it!
Phi: Way to go!
Tenmyouji: Good work.
Sigma: Hey, look, the screen changed color…
Phi: So...would this be…?
Tenmyouji: Could this be…?
Sigma: Should this be…?
Sigma: I knew it!
Tenmyouji: That looks like a password to the safe!
Phi: We did it! This should get us into that safe!

[ sigma tries to do the puzzle again ]

Phi: What are you doing?
Phi: You already solved this one
Sigma: Yeah, but… I feel like there’s another solution
Tenmyouji: You mean “Reach 9 alone”?
Sigma: Yeah. I’m kinda curious about what that means…

[ sigma solves the second condition ]

Phi: Nice one.
Tenmyouji: Looks like that was the answer.

[ they investigate the thing next to the box, first. ]

SIgma: I...I think I’ve seen something like this before.
Phi: Oh, you mean one of those exercise machines where you twist your hips around?
Sigma: No, no I don’t think so. This doesn’t look like a fitness machine to me.
Phi: Kinda ruins it when you take it so seriously…
Sigma: This is… Is… Uh…
Sigma: ... …
Sigma: Damnit. I can’t remember.

[ they then turn to the safe ]

Tenmyouji: The same safe we’ve seen in the other rooms.
Phi: That means we probably open it the same way too.
Sigma: We just need to plug in the password, right?
Phi: Yeah. Why don’t you give it a shot?

[ he puts in the password ]

Phi: Good job! You opened it!
Tenmyouji: Hmm. Well done.
